Notes:I have performed at Sandywoods several times. The format for this performance is one of my favorites – an in the round with two of my fellow RISA members Michael Laureanno and Chuck Williams. This is about as close to Vaudedville as you can get as a songwriter as other than the songs we sing – all patter is unrehearsed. Join us for some fun and song.
Notes:This a very special season opener and fundraiser for RI’s oldest longstanding acoustic music series. Performing with Mary Ann this evening, in and in-the-round format are longtime friend Mike Laureanno (Mike is promoting a new CD Road Signs) and Caroline Doctorow (Caroline recorded Mary Ann’s song Measure My Love). They will perform solo acoustic and together for a wonderful evening of listening pleasure!
Notes:Mary Ann will be performing this evening with Paul Dube, accordion and harp; Betsy Ritz, fiddle; Matt Dube, percussion; Fred Wilkes, bass and Medrick Bellaire, mandolin and acoustic guitar. In addition to a wonderful evening of spirited music, Mary Ann will be having and art exhibit at the Theatre showing some of her more recent works.
Notes:I was invited to perform by the pastor of this church – and old friend and supporter Ken Ferguson. The gal who runs the music series just so happens to be the mother of one of my buddy’s on the circuit from way back – Andrew McKnight. So needless to say, I am happy to perform and have invited my buddy Mike Laureanno to split the bill. It’s all in the family – hope to see you!
Notes:This is an ongoing series in a beautiful corner of the state of Rhoe Island. I will be performing with two of my songwriting buddies: Jan Luby and Jim Tata. Warm, comfortable library setting – coffee and soft drinks available
